We met on Saturday, April 1, 2006
and had a great time getting to know each other.
We shared both our hopes and our fears,
as well as our past ups and downs.
What impressed me most was
the absolute devotion evident in each family.
These children are all blessed
to have advocates who really work hard.
There were five families
with one Schiz Kid in each family,
so we had 5 L'il Buddies and their siblings.
Then we were blessed to have
Stacey Hay's folks with us also.
There is another family
who could not make it this time,
but we plan to meet again in a few months.
Also, anyone new is welcome to join us.
Many thanks to my granddaughter Sunny, who supervised the kids and did crafts with them!
